Weighing in on the College Admissions Scandal

The recent revelations about the scummy scam whereby rich people get their stupid kids into college by gaming the admissions process seems to have shocked a lot of people in America. But I feel that, as the mother of a college bound high school senior, as a working professor, and as a former college athlete, I have an extra special right to gripe.
